July 2014 - The brooding mass of Ben Alder from the summit slopes of Carn Dearg. On the left is Beinn Bheoil, in the middle Bealach Beithe and to the right of that leading up to the summit plateau are the short and long Lethchois ridges. To the right of the plateau is the Bealach Dubh ("The Dark Vale") whilst on the far right is the pointed peak of Sgor Lutharn. Generations of Stalkers and Ghillies on Ben Alder have tramped the paths and hillsides in this photo, and no doubt generations not yet born will do so in the future. For the hill will always endure, only the people will change.
