Pressmuckerach Bothy

Pressmuckerach Bothy towards Creag Ruadh. The bothy has been shifted and re-built as part of the "Highland Folk Park"-which has done a brilliant job. Peter McLagan - Mary Christie's father, worked and lived here for a time.

Comments:
In 1841 my great great grandfather, James MacDonell was shepherd at Presmuckrach. At the time there must have been more than just a bothy. He lived with his wife Ann and three children. Also on the site was a family MacPherson, the father being being a ploughman.
