McCook's Cottage

McCook's Cottage aka Ben Alder Bothy from the rear. This was where the McCook family lived in the early 1900s. This was where Dr MacDonald from Laggan attended Joseph McCook - ill with pneumonia in February 1910, and won the Carnegie Medal for his bravery in fighting his way through dreadful snow conditions.
